FALLOFMAN
System motherboard: asus p8z-77v lx Processor: intel i5 3570k el capitan has dedicated HD I managed to install el capitan with clover, which boots up fine with the usb stick, but when I try without it, it gets stuck at loading. I tried to find an error message but I'm not an expert at this and can't figure out the issue so I took a photo of where it stops loading. http://i.imgur.com/WckUweF.jpg

bigben1
falloman, usually you can't see efi partition , so boot with usb and when booted up ( download efi mounter in downloads) mount the efi partition of your boot drive and you will see a folder named efi on your desk top, copy usb efi to hdd efi , unmount efi reboot , remove usb and you are good to go.
