I have got green lines instead of few buttons and my MSI AMD RX 470 4gb not working after modification info.plist in AMD9500Controller.kext and AMDRadeonX4000.kext.

AMDRadeonX4100.kext.

Do not forget to rebuild system extensions caches with Kext Utility.

Otherwise try to spoof fake device ID with Clover instead of touching system files.

Yes my friend, sorry but im just ask for you if that card its possible to work like your card, just a simple question.

yes, that card will probably work with a "helper" card (iGPU of your prozessor), as described multiple times here in this thread

HOUSTON, we have a problem...

just upgraded to SIERRA 10.12.4 beta4 (build 16E175b) and evan with IGPU as helper card i have no longer any monitor detected on my RX480:

Bildschirmfoto_2017_02_27_um_23_04_49.pn

As you can see in the screen, the RX480 gets fully detected and recognized - but no screen was detected on boot. See this:

Bildschirmfoto_2017_02_27_um_23_05_01.pn

All connectors detected correctly - but still no Screen. Also see here:

Bildschirmfoto_2017_02_27_um_23_05_25.pn

First reboot after fresh update, System panics with Error in AMDSupport.kext. Had to rebuild kernelcache, than restart again... et voila, since this point no connected screens get detected

(all of them report "no signal detected, going to sleep shortly").

Rebooted same constalation with SIERRA 10.12.4 beta3 <--- everything back to normal - all three screens where detected as all time back in the past.

WEIRED, if you ask me. Continue to figure out, what the problem might be. Stay tuned...

- - - - -

PS: many 1 or 2 byte changes in AMDRadeonX4100.kext from beta3 to beta4 - with just one exception:

Bildschirmfoto_2017_02_27_um_23_51_07.pn

At this part, you can see, that there were 1.6 kilobytes deleted w/o an exchange! Have to take a deeper look in details on what the deleted path was/did.

I would have to revise my further statement: my connected monitors didnt show any signal, because i was using a kextpatch for AMDSupport.kext, which i have made for testing and forget to remove it.

After removing that patch, all monitors now getting detected by SIERRA 10.12.4 beta4 (build16E175b).

Sorry for any inconvenience. My fault

I run 10.12.4 Beta 4 with an RX460 and a Pentium G3258 on my machine. Unfortunately there are no drivers for the iGPU in the G3258 and macOS always sees a non-existing screen leaving me with a weird dual-monitor setup. I can disable the monitor using the DisableMonitor app but I have to do it on every boot. Is there a way to disable the iGPU in macOS through DSDT or some sort of a kext or anything else that's automatic?

Hi everyone, could anyone please tell me how to test the GPU RX 480 8GB Sapphire NItro. I got this result in benckmark but I'm not an advanced user. What do you think? It's been good here, and I'm enjoying it. In WIndows I'm also running Doom 2016 and it's very cool !!
