Solved with a little modification:

S/L/E > NVDAStartupWeb.kext > Contents > info.plist

Change (lines 45-46)

			<key>NVDARequiredOS</key>
			<string>16G1212</string>

with

			<key>NVDARequiredOS</key>
			<string>16G1314</string>

I copied the kext on the desktop, I duplicated it, modified it, put it back into S/L/E and updated the cache.

hope it helps

Thank you for purchasing an NVIDIA® graphics card for the Mac Pro.

This software package contains:

   ● A driver designed for your NVIDIA graphics card.
   ● A preference pane in System Preferences that includes options to:
      ◦ Switch between the NVIDIA Web Graphics Driver or Default OS X Graphics Driver.
      ◦ Enable Error Correcting Codes (ECC) on supported graphics cards.
      ◦ Automatically check for NVIDIA software updates for your graphics card.
   ● An optional menu bar item that provides easy access to the most common preferences.

If, for any reason, you are unable to boot your system to the desktop and wish to restore your original drivers, you can do so by clearing your Mac’s NVRAM. To clear NVRAM, power on your Mac and hold down Command (⌘), Option, P, and R simultaneously before the gray screen appears. Keep the keys held down until you hear the startup chime for the second time. The system will now boot with the original drivers restored.

For me? Nothing, it works without special effects. In the "patched" version I didn't do any particular tests.
Honestly I'm not satisfied with this video card both with "real" and "forged" drivers...

ps, CUDA has also been updated. Latest version: 387.178 for GPU Driver Version 378.05.05.25f07.

With the new fix kext appeared artifacts on some sites in Safari. In places where the video is embedded. Or a Google maps frame.

Anyone have the WebDrivers for 10.12.6 version 16G1404 handy?

Been a while since I used my hackintosh and I've completely forgotten the mod I need to make to the package to get it to install.

16G1404?

It was a security beta for after 10.12.6 it seems. (I thought I'd turned beta off, but it had turned back on again)

I've gone and installed 10.13.4 now anyway.

Any improvements or changes vs build 25f07? I don't want to update if there isn't any bugfix or added value. Thanks...

After I applied Security Update 2018-003 to Sierra 10.12.6, NVidia Web Driver 378.05.05.25f08 is now "incompatible" and has been disabled by NVidia Driver Manager (automatically switched to OSX Default Graphics Driver).  Tried uninstalling and reinstalling web driver with same result.
