Picasso Posted June 9, 2016 Share Posted June 9, 2016 I was reading lot of threads about it. Some users have applied and others ignore this. But... It´s necessary? What I read, only works in Smbios 17.1 - so if you use 14,2, you change your smbios and you get PM but maybe loose some functionality. I remember with Haswell happened the same, but in the end, wasn´t necessary (Rampagadev site, Txxxx, Netkas, etc). Maybe some users can give me more information to decide. I don´t have skills for discuss this kind of things with a Dev, that´s why I left this on the wild side If I don't used it: - Can I ¨burn¨ the processor? - Shorter life or other components like ram, mother, gpu? - Spend more power with the PSU? - Can´t overclock? - My machine always going to work slow?
