Hi Guys

My Hack was made out of interest if I will be able to make it myself. Like a challenge with me.

Now I got almost everything working, apart HDMI Audio. It was time to get the WiFi working.

As a matter of getting it rolling asap, I choose the TP Link TL-WDN 4800.

Startup: OOB

Usual Problems:

a.) Connection loss

b.) Locale 21 Error at Boot-up

The first thing I got resolved by shutting down the Wake up on Lan in the Bios and setting ipV6 to off.

                        networksetup setv6off Wi-Fi

Second problem by adding the following Clover patch:

            <dict>

                <key>Comment</key>
                <string>Atheros Locale Fix</string>
                <key>Find</key>
                <data>
                g/s3
                </data>
                <key>Name</key>
                <string>AirPortAtheros40</string>
                <key>Replace</key>
                <data>
                g/sh
                </data>
            </dict>

I found this in one of the forum posts when using google.

So far, no connection loss, my Fritz.Box now recognise the HackPro correct and I can download big files - tested.

I do not know if this will help everybody but t worked for me!

UPDATE: After a long evening of watching Movies online, still full stable connection @5Ghz.
