digg
My System: - Intel i7-860 Processor - BIOS with virtualization enabled - OS X El Capitan - Clover with pretty much everything on default - everything works fine. According to this page, I need the following to make use of the Hypvervisor System virtualization technologie in OSX: Intel VT-x feature set that includes Extended Page Tables (EPT) and Unrestricted Mode. According to my CPU spec page, I support these things, however, when checking for availability for the Hypervisor API it says it is not supported: $ sysctl kern.hv_support kern.hv_support: 0 Am I missing something? ExExibit
I have an Asus P7P55-lx MB, Core I-5 750 CPU. I need $ sysctl kern.hv_support. Can I replace CPU to get $ sysctl kern.hv_support? If yes which CPU should I install?
