Hi Folks,

Newbie here so sorry if this in in the wrong place.

I have a "mac pro" hackintosh running Yosemite 10.10.4

The mobo is a gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI

The GB website says that the two LANs are

Intel® GbE LAN chip (10/100/1000 Mbit)(LAN1)

and

Atheros® GbE LAN chip (10/100/1000 Mbit)(LAN2)
"* Teaming is not supported." (whatever the hell that means)

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4601#sp

I'm trying to use the ethernet to get online but either port still gives the "ethernet not connected" error message.

System report says no ethernet cards are installed.

I'm not a stranger to some programming and command line stuff, but mostly in linux.

I believe I need to insert a kext file to drive the onboard LANs but Im a) nervous about making sure I get the right one , and b ) don't have the first clue how or where to insert it.

Any help very gratefully received

Cheers
