FALLOFMAN
So I downloaded the yosemite web drivers (im running a hackintosh) for my gtx 960 but when I open the nvidia panel to change it to use the gtx card, it is greyed out. I think I have to inject something using a program but I havent used the osx part of my hackintosh for over a year and cant remember for the life of me how to do it. ylair
Do you have Cuda drivers installed as they need to be there side by side with Nvidia drivers. Then as mentioned you need to try different flags but definitely NVDA_DRV=1. Other than that without knowing what machine your on, its hard to troubleshoot. Guest jonatrapezita
Hi FALLOFMAN For this: you need to inject your Nvidia GTX 960 into a DSDT/SSDT. It is the only way. You can find tutorials about this, but I recommend you to visit Rampagedev's web. http://www.rampagedev.com/?page_id=276&page=15 or http://www.rampagedev.com/?page_id=79 Rampagadev is Local Moderators of Insanelymac. No problem for share his web in this post. And for this: (It is only cosmetic, but if you have pain in your eyes when you see it...) I recommend you to use Pandora's Box to install Nvidia Web Drivers. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/11-pandoras-box/ First, you need to uninstall the nvidia web drivers. (If you have already installed the drivers) Then you use Pandora's box. This tool is excellent in order to set Nvidia Web Driver as "default". You do not need to do nothing more. When your PC restarts the injection nvda_drv=1 will be automatic in boot arguments. This is not necessary, but if you want it... (It is not necessary because nvda_drv=1 will ALWAYS be charged automatically in boot arguments when you install with Pandora) *repeat* Go to EFI partition and edit your conflig.plist. And write nvda_drv=1 in your "Arguments".
