important note when creating DSDT patch files

so my main text editor is an app called TextWrangler. I've been saving the patch files with Windows line breaks (CR/LF) and then I open these patch files in MaciADL or DSDT editor, some lines are being ignored.

 

So I tried saving them with Mac line breaks (CR) since I'm using a Mac and same thing.

 

But when I saved it with UNIX line breaks (LF), it all works!!!

 

just want to share that.

Hi,

 

You could open them with Texteditor, go to: Display > Convert to flat text.

 

Tried my best on the translation. 

 

But the above should remove everything but the text itself.

you can use TextMate,
he has conversion options
when you save the file.
