hey guys,

i tried to to install yosemite 10.10.1 on my dell inspiron 5721 using the guide from the insanely mac website.the guide was followed as it is,everything went well but the installation process came up using disk utility i formatted a newly created partition using windows 10 which is already installed on my laptop into mac journal extended format..the installation started it says 6 mins to go and restarts..then comes into clover again says "automatically booting into mac os x"..and again the installation starts from first.I repeated the procedure 2-3 times but the same result.The only thing in the guide which is not executed is the step 6."Install screen will appear, use Disk Utility to format your drive as GPT, create a Mac OS X Extended (Journaled) partition and install Mavericks to your formatted partition."as my hdd is all ready partitioned in the gpt format.so guys any help regarding his?the guide followed form insanely mac link : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299911-dell-inspiron-3x21-5x21-clover-install-guide-dell/

HW issue most likely

but the guide is specifically for our series of laptop :(  so is their any chance me getting osx on my laptop

That's the same guide I followed..when it says 6mins to go it restart and clover comes up.should I press f4 their and again select partition or is their any error which is not letting the installation to complete? Because the installation bar is not completed and restart happens!

HW=Hardware

Is it restarting by itself even without finishing the install or it restarts with a countdown?

its restarting by itself..the loading bar comes to the end like almost 70%,it restarts the clover screen come up 4 options show up

1.automatically boot osx(dnt knw exact wordings)

2.boot to windows

3.option related to clover

4.recovery hdd partition

so i choose option 1 and again the installation begins freshly,as per the guide i should press f4 but the installation didn't complete or nothing pop up like successfully isntalled reboot ur system now..so what to do know?
