Just reporting this, for the next person coming along wondering if it will...

Asus Strix GTX 960 OC installed on system as per sig. on El Capitan 10.11.4.

Without Web drivers installed, system booted fine but only into low-res graphics. 1024x768; a standard VESA mode, I think. I was then able to install the web drivers using the Web Driver Updater at http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/474-nvidia%C2%AE-webdriver-updaterapp/.

I simply told it to do an install, and did nothing with the NVDAStartupWeb.kext and NVEnabler.kext tabs. Rebooted, and it was all there and fully working on my 4K display.

I'm slightly shocked, and at a bit of a loose end. I'd cleared this weekend for getting this to work and now don't know what I'm going to do!

NB: This system was already set to iMac14,2 as it closely matched that spec before anyway, except for the GPU. In reading other topics around here that probably makes a difference, as the real iMac14,2 already has an nVidia GPU. I'm not sure if that's significant or not, given I'm using web drivers.

Will be back to report if any issues arise later, but so far all looking good.
