Hi guys, I have been trying for a long time now to install hackintosh on my G20 but i didn't manage to pass the still waiting for root device. There is probably something i haven't understood so i decided to forget everything i have tried so far (kexts, different bootloader, different installations) and start from scratch following your guidance if possible.Which guide do you suggest i followed and any what should i do to my config.plist. Thank you in advanced . I attached my BIOS settings and my hardware is

-i7 4790

-8GB RAM  1600 Mhz

-NVIDIA GTX 760 2GB

-Motherboard is custom for this machine only with

  >Intel H97 chipset

  >Intel 9-series USB

  >Intel I218-V ethernet

  >RealTek RTL8821AE wifi/bluetooth

I have tried to help another person with G20 before, but he couldn't get it installed because SSD was never listed in the Disk Utility.  I'll try to help you.

Use this guide:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/305255-making-a-10101011-usb-installer-w-clover-uefi-and-legacy-the-correct-way/

Use the config from Chris1111:

you need ethernet kext:

And FakeSMC kext:

Remember to add in the boot arg nv_disable=1

Guys i thought of something ... My mobo has a setting in the BIOS that has to do with power management and does not have an auto mode .. It has max non-turbo etc. Could this be the problem.. Power management issue?? I will send a picture later tonight ...

i tried it with no luck... i thought of something else.... my graphics card isn't connected straight to my mobo but it uses pci to pci board which needs a driver i think... (it is not a cable it is a board).. could that create a problem?

I can't seem to remember how I got into the installer on the other G20. Even if so, I suggest you sell the system and build one from scratch with compatible hw.
