billmavra Posted March 28, 2016 Share Posted March 28, 2016 Hi guys, I have been trying for a long time now to install hackintosh on my G20 but i didn't manage to pass the still waiting for root device. There is probably something i haven't understood so i decided to forget everything i have tried so far (kexts,different bootloader,different installations) and start from scratch following your guidance if possible.Which guide do you suggest i followed and any what should i do to my config.plist. Thank you in advanced . I attached my BIOS settings and my hardware is -i7 4790 -8GB RAM 1600 Mhz -NVIDIA GTX 760 2GB -Motherboard is custom for this machine only with >Intel H97 chipset >Intel 9-series USB >Intel I218-V ethernet >RealTek RTL8821AE wifi/bluetooth Asus G20 BIOS.rar 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'll try to help you. My mobo has a setting in the BIOS that has to do with power management and does not have an auto mode .. It has max non-turbo etc. Could this be the problem.. Power management issue??
