hayhay7789 Posted March 15, 2016 Share Posted March 15, 2016 Hi, I have tried to get my sound to work for the past 2 days. No matter what I do I get no output devices found. Here is what I have tried so far: 1. Used (shudder) ##### to try to patch sounds with ALC887/888b and 5.1 3 port audio patches 2. tried Mirone's audio patch by using the Clover config.plist to try to fix it (which includes moving AdummyHDA.kext into clover's efi kext folder) as well as moving the fully patched AppleHDA.kext from Mirone's app into /S/L/E using Kext utility and putting the same kext into clover's EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.11 folder. It is worth noting however, that I did use Mirone's audio patch with a vanilla HDA from Yosemite I believe, since I wasn't smart enough to back up the original AppleHDA.kext for 10.11.3.
