El Capitan - not display the battery status.

Hello!!

 

I have installed on vaio fit 15 (SVF15A1C5E)

all right, except for the battery.

It does not recognize the battery and does not display the battery status.

you can help me. Thank you

Hello @Socrahm, welcome to InsanelyMac!  :D

 

You can try ACPIBatteryManager.kext, but if this doesn't work, maybe will be necessary use ACPIBatteryManager + DSDT patches.

 

PS: For any modified kext work properly on El Capitan, you'll need disable S.I.P first, and install the kext, after that, rebuild the disk cache with this commands:

sudo -s
chmod -R 755 /Volumes/El Capitan/Library/Extensions
chown -R 0:0 /Volumes/El Capitan/Library/Extensions
touch /Volumes/El Capitan/System/Library/Extensions
kextcache -u /Volumes/El Capitan
exit

Change the "El Capitan" HDD name above, for your current HDD name.
