Audio buffer too large for Snow Leopard Guest on VMware for Linux

Hi to everybody!

Thanks to unlocker 2 I was able to install a Guest OS X (Snow Leopard) VM on a Ubuntu host - and the best part is that I was able to do it from my original, regularly paid Snow Leopard DVD (no cracked version here)!

Everything is working fine, thanks to the SVGA II video driver, but audio is giving me a lot of headaches; after reading a lot on the 'net I was able to eventually get some audio by tweaking the .vmx config file and using the Ensonique audio driver... but I had to use a very, very large sound buffer (pciSound.playBuffer = "400"), in order to avoid "clicks" or stuttering, and that has the sound lagging a lot (400msec, about half a second, lag is really noticeable).

Is there a way to go with a more "normal" sound buffer, something in the 100msec range (as is the VMware default)? This is my full audio config:

sound.present = "TRUE"
sound.virtualDev = "es1371"
sound.fileName = "-1"
sound.autodetect = "TRUE"
sound.highPriority = "TRUE"
pciSound.playBuffer = "400"
sound.pciSlotNumber = "35"

Thanks in advance to all!
