Hello people,

My name is Davide, I am a new user of this community. Hope to find help here.

I am building my first Hackintosh. Here are the parts I have:

MoBo: Adlink M-342

Chipset: Intel Q67 Express

UEFI: American Megatrends Aptio 4

Processor: Intel i3 2120 Sandy Bridge

RAM: 4 GB

HDD: SeaGate 500 GB, 5400 RPM

I was able to perform a clean install. The installation process takes place correctly; at the end of the installation, the installer requires a restart. I perform the restart, I boot back into Clover bootloader and select my brand new Mac OSX partition. After a few moments, the computer freezes on this line:

An interesting thing is that if I plug the monitor in using VGA, it just gets stuck here; if I plug the monitor in using HDMI, when it reaches this error the screen goes completely blank. Don't know if it's something, but I am thinking to some kind of graphic issues.

I really don't know what to do with this. There is no such information out there about this particular error.

Thoughts?

A quick update about my issue.
I am trying to switch between HDMI and VGA ports. HDMI leaves me with a blank screen right after the "NotifyPlatformASPM - failed to register with IOPlatformPlugin" error. VGA just gets stuck there.

On HDMI, right after the screen going blank, the cursor appears on screen for like 20 milliseconds, flickers and then black screen. I am pretty sure this is some kind of graphic issue, so I am trying to change a few options in UEFI regarding allocated video memory etc. I am going to post my current settings in a moment.

Please help me :(

Here are my current Graphic Settings in UEFI.

Under Chipset > System Agent (SA) Configuration > Graphics Configuration:

Primary Display Auto
Internal Graphics Enabled
DVMT Pre-Allocated 64M
DVMT Total Gfx Mem MAX
Primary IGFX Boot Display VBIOS Default

I don't know for sure that this is a graphic issue, but I really don't know what to think.
