wdogmx
I feel like this must have been discussed and solved elsewhere, but I can't find it. I'm on a Gigabyte z97 mobo, running Clover and Yosemite 10.10.5. This is primarily a ProTools rig and has been working well in general, but recently I've been having trouble booting past the Clover screen. Sometimes it'll take three or four reboots before the OS appears to "catch" after which everything is okay. Unpredictable. I've had a few strange Finder crashes after which I generally repair permissions and rebuild the caches, but still get the same issue sometimes. I do have a couple RAM resident utilities I am concerned may be a problem (XtraFinder, Snapper, QuicKeys) but I'm guessing the problem is in my config file somewhere. Booting in verbose mode yields one of two errors (see attached) neither of which I have the experience to understand. Advice would be appreciated. Newbie here on my first Hackintosh and generally loving it except for this….
carbo178
Try OsxAptioFix2Drv.efi instead of OsxAptioFixDrv.efi
wdogmx
That worked! But the other way - took out OsxAptioFix2Drv.efi and put in OsxAptioFixDrv.efi Thank you!
