Hi!

I am new to this site so bare with me :) The reason I'm here is because I am trying to patch my DSDT for the first time. I have MaciASL and it returns 201 errors when just comping it stock with no changes. They all seem to relate with something being missing (ex. "Object not found"). If I need to upload something please tell me how and I will. Thanks for the help guys because I really need it right now LOL!

Edit: I couldn't get vanilla install using ##### and Clover, so I used a thing I found on Hackintosh.Zone and flashed it and it works great! For right now I am using the flash drive to boot and will switch to clover install

Press sometime F4 at Clover boot screen, boot the system, mount EFI partition (use Efi Mounter) and go to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin, if all is ok you find all ACPI tables (SSDT's and DSDT)

Compress and send origin folder

If the folder is empty open MacIasl, extract DSDT and save the file as DSDT.dsl, compress and send the file

I edited my above post. Having trouble get my DSDT out of MaciASL (File>Save As?)

I think the extracted DSDT is not "vanilla", dsl file can be corrected and saved without errors, but when is saved as aml 165 errors returns...

Can you re-extract dsdt pressing F4 by Clover boot screen? You can make this booting by pendrive, in this case you find ACPI tables in the EFI partition of the pendrive

Okay... So if I boot into clover off the flash drive and press F4 (while highlighting the Yosemite drive?) It will give me a way to extract the DSDT? Then save to where? Windows drive? Yosemite drive? Flash drive? Thanks for your help.

Don't matter what system you highlight, ACPI tables are already extracted in a folder into EFI partition of pendrive.

Plug the pendrive and boot with this, press F4 and reboot the system normally, mount Efi partition of pendrive and go to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin

I managed somehow to correct mistakes, try dsdt attached.

If you use Chameleon put the file in /Extra folder, if you use Clover put him in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched

Thank you so much. I decided to go with a more vanilla install with El Capitan and ##### with clover, booted with the other guys patched DSDT.aml but I am having trouble install clover. Windows 10 is still on my system and it defaults to that. How to do I get into clover without flash drive? I have a clover installer and configorator

You use Tonymac tools, i don't know this (prohibited) tools.

Read Forum rules, please.

All the best

I understand. Thank you for your help with everything! I am moved on now. I have clover installed to my drive. Everytime I load el capitan I have a KP, going to uninstall voodoo battery to see if that fixes it. Do you know how to remove a kext via ourside the drive? Live linux? Recovery? Flash drive? Terminal? Also how do you patch battery via maciasl? I have rehab man's github repo but only has battery patches for specific laptops.
