flamebox Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 I just followed http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/297954-mavericks-1092-on-hp-xw8600/ I used: DSDT_HPXW8600_EveryCPU.aml Kexts XW8600 10.9.5 Kexts XW8600 10.9.2 and my XW8600 appears to have had its mother board fried, can anyone help!! It does not get to boot the bios just fans noise and black screen!!!! Apologies i panicked DVI cable came out, ......bad first post!!!! spakk Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 If should this case again occur in the future, then look at your mainboard manual, there you will find the jumper settings to the CMOS to overcome in order to bring the CMOS to the factory settings.
