Antonio95
Hello everybody, I have a Toshiba Satellite C660 with this hardware: - CPU Intel i5 2410M - Chipset: HM65 - NVIDIA GeForce 315M I've tried to install OS X 10.11 with no luck. I've prepared everything following the guide and using Clover Legacy as bootloader. Whenever I try to boot from USB with "-v" it hangs with an underscore for a while after I select the USB to boot from. After about 1 minute it starts loading stuff but it won't go after that. It keeps displaying something new occasionally but after 10 minutes it hangs on "Waiting for DSMOS...". It seems something related with FakeSMC.kext but it's already on "EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other". I don't know what to do. I hope someone will be wanting to help me

Antonio95
Update: I've created again the USB installation and I've tried with the artur_pt suggestion. Booted and kernel panic for something related to CPU. So I've booted with cpus=1 and after long wait before installation screen (is that normal?) it made the trick! At the moment the OS is being installed. I'll keep you updated. Will I have to boot always with cpus=1? Thank you to chris too!

Antonio95
Hello artur_pt huge thank you for your support but it keeps not working, I'm not sure but it seems like it's not loading the kext at boot because I can't see it. I've tried to install the kext with Easykext Utility and Kext Wizard but no luck. I don't understand if it is not working or it doesn't load at all.
