Dear community,

please could onayone, who have an iMAC 27" Retina late 2014 upload a BIOS Dump (ROM-FILE) of the integrated RADEON R9 M295X?

I would like to test it with my new GIGABYTE RADEON R9 380X F1 GAMING card.

Installed this card in my ASUS X99-E WS EL CAPITAN setup with the dsame result as for a ASUS R9 380 STRIX: lost Monitorsignal after verbose boot, no screens, no connection via ARD possible.

But:

I installed a second RADEON Card, this time a Saphire Radeon HD6570 in PCI slot #1 (Radeon R9 380X sits in PCI slot #3)... et voila: Systeminformation detects the Radeon R9 380X

as a RADEON R9 M295X and shows screen on DP, HDMI and DVI!!!! So i would like to flash the M295X BIOS to the R9 380X and see, if it acts now like a RADEON R9 280X, which operates under EL CAPITAN OUT-OF-THE-BOX without the need of a second "primary" gfx-card.

So if anyone here got the possibility to save the BIOS with DPCIManager tool and could upload that saved BIOS for me somewhere: PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO SO.

Thx in advance and regards...

No, i am looking for a ROM-File of Radeon R9 M295X BIOS.

For better understanding: i would like to flash my GIGABYTE Radeon R9 380X with the BIOS of iMACs Radeon R9 M295X BIOS.

therefor i am looking for someone, who owns iMAC 27" RETINA late 2014 and who is able to save the BIOS of this card to a file with the Tool DPCIManager, or maybe under WINDOWS with Tool GPU-Z.

See the attached picture what it looks like, when i have the HD6570 in PCI-Slot #1 and the R9 380X in PCI-Slot #2: AMDRadeonX4000.kext active, full accelleration. <--- see selection in screenshot

But this only works, if i have a second gfx-card attached to the system. I cant use internal gfx for this, cause HASWELL-E doesn't have internal (discrete) gfx.

And i have tested another constellation: R9 380 in Slot #1 and R9 380X in Slot #2. Result: same issues discribed earlier: all attached monitors loose signal and no screen works.

Little Information, too: both R9 380/x cards are based on TONGA chip. Both cards work fine, if i disable AMDRadeonX4000.kext (of cause w/o any accelleration).

I have the iMac 15,1 with the R9 M290X (not the 295X) for my work machine, if you're still in need of a BIOS-ROM?

I just got hold of a R9 380 for my hackintosh at home, but I'm only on Yosemite, and I'm very interested in helping in any way I can to help get this running on el cap for my hack.

Can you please start in verbose mode, to see what resolution you have ?, retina or HiDPI, and how looks the apple logo, thanks

YES, please. Any original RADEON MAC BIOS will help me to get a R9 380/x to act like a R9 280X.

Will try several things to get it working, but need an original Radeon R9 290X or 295X MAC BIOS first...

so please upload anywhere (or maybe here if it isn't against any rule) and let me know the link.

thx in advance...
