tim687
Hello, I have just installed OS X Yosemite on my new hobby laptop. I started the installation using the amd64 and -v flags, otherwise the disk wouldn't boot. The installation was successful, but OS X is not booting. After the Root device UID it instantly reboots into the bootloader. Safemode, amd64, amd1, mad, GraphicsEnabler=NO, npci=0x2000, PCIRootUID=0/1 and -v doesn't work. The only thing I haven't tried is the hp bootflag. I am using UEFI, should I switch to BIOS? The strange thing is that when I boot into recovery, the screen says that it couldn't load the kernel cache or something. I am using Niresh OS X 10.10 1 I am hoping to at least get the os started a little more. Thank you in advance, Tim
