Hello everybody,
I'm new to both Mac and Hackintosh so please be gentle. smile_osx.png
I've installed OS X Maverics and I can use it only in safe mode (-x). Otherwise, starting hangs indefinitely. When I do the -v it hangs after "Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport..." (I've attached the image). I've read that this has most probably something to do with the graphics as that comes after the bluetooth. I've tried all the available suggested workarounds for the Intel 4600 (##### also has some fixes) but nothing works for me. banghead.gif The fact that I don't undertstand thoses fixes doesn't help either icon_lol.gif My monitor is connected as SVGA, don't know if that could be the issue? I don't get the black screen though, the booting up hangs. In safe mode, the network works properly, not much else (there is graphics but the resolution is quite low and videos flicker). No graphics kext loaded in safe mode.

My hardware is:
Intel Core i7 4790
Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3
CORSAIR 16GB (2x8GB) Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz CL10 KIT
Samsung SSD 250GB 850 EVO
Western Digital 2TB SATA3 Black (OS X is here)

I only asked to read rules, especially concerning Tonymac.
For your graphics problem try changing monitor connection, use HDMI or DVI

I think you have installed Clover bootloader, post the EFI folder

The converter you use not always is the solution, you have the converter plugged in motherboard DVI port, right?

If your monitor have only VGA connection try using a TV via HDMI

Try also disabling VT-d in the bios

Tried the adapter idea. I cannot use the adapter, the DVI port is strictly digital. But as I said, I don't get a black screen, the OS doesn't boot so it's more than the port.

But! It's definitely the graphics. I manually removed some graphics kexts and the OS boots fine, just like in Safe Mode (without any kexts loaded). Disabling VT-d didn't change anything.

I'm guessing buying a cheap second hand graphics card is my solution. Any suggestions?

I'm seeing  GeForce GT220 DDR2 512MB on my local ads, and it seems to work with Hackintosh based on some forum feedback.
