Hi,

I have copied my virtual machine (OS X Maverick 10.9) to new Dell laptop with i7-5600u CPU and received endless boot logo.

I have added "sudo nvram boot-args="-v"" on the old machine and now I am stuck with number of errors and don't know how to continie.

Please take a look on attached screenshot ...

I am using VMWare 10.0.3.

I am using VMWare 10.0.3.

I have a Dell Latitude E5450 with i7-5600U processor running Windows 10 Enterprise, VMware Workstation Pro 12.1 and OS X 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11 using unlocker 2.0.8 without issues, so it can work if you do a fresh install.

If you really need to migrate your current OS X 10.9 try one or more of the following:

Add a CPUID Mask in to your VMX configuration file, see link at the bottom of the post for details, it maybe the VM does not like some of the features of your new processor.

Try Workstation Player 12.1, it is free, with unlocker 2.0.8.

Use VMware Standalone Converter to do a V2V of your VM, I have never got this to work, but others say it works.
