planetf1
Hi, I have OS/2 El Capitan+updates happily working under vmware 12.1 on windows (unlocked) However despite being a developer, and trying to make my way through numerous threads I'm still somewhat confused over how to get iMessage working. I should add that I'm currently using a seperate iTunes id to my main id (used on iOS) until I'm as sure as I can be that things are sorted -- rather than getting an id locked out...... I've downloaded clover configurator and am hoping that I can generate MLB/ROM values using that, and then inject them into vmware using efi.nvram.var.ROM = "XXX" efi.nvram.var.MLB = "YYY" So some questions * There seems to be mixed opinions on whether ANY generated values work these days without an apple support call * I'm unsure if I need to get a fixed ethernet0.Address in vmware - though I have done for now (beginning AC29 -- an apple range) * I can run clover configurator, use the wizard to pick a variety of machines, and save a config.plist - but am totally confused as to which numbers in the file I can use for rom/mlb * I'm unsure whether any other numbers/serials are needed Can anyone advise? Sincere Thanks :-)
kishine
Hello, Depending on how old your iTune ID is, the following guide should still work. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/303073-pattern-of-mlb-main-logic-board/
