JT1123
Hello everyone, May I just say, those quizzes are quite fun ;P. For the last week, I have attempted to install MAC on my PC well over 20 times. I prefer not downloading from the Apple Store as I need to use a Virtualbox and the internet speed drops. I keep getting to the same place at the end of the tutorials, my computer will boot up MAC with the USB stick however without the USB stick, I receive an error from the HDD/SSD (2 Separate HDD's/SSD's have been tried) "Can't find a bootable device or the hard drive has failed" and the error is just repeated. Am I doing something wrong during the installation that isn't keeping the Bootloader or? My Computer is Pre-built, it's the HP Pavillion 500-403a. In short, it is a Memphis Motherboard / HP. It doesn't have a UEFI interface, just BIOS however it does Support UEFI/Legacy modes. My USB's and HDD's (Apart from my windows SSD) show up as Legacy Mode. MAC runs tremendously fast on my computer and i'd really like to get it running without the USB stick. Many Thanks. msinfo32 (System Summary): https://gyazo.com/7dc5961b55444e0a5cedcb6c0b8e1b15

JT1123
Hi guys, I have tried both Chameleon and Clover, I have also tried El Capitan, Yosemite and Maverick. I don't think I'm setting it up correctly but I've followed the tutorials and it just won't load without the USB. No sign of the Bootloader being on the HDD at all. I saw the BOOT and CLOVER folders on the HDD but again it didn't work.

kishine
Hi there, try installing Clover as EUFI, but boot as legacy. There must be a hidden file called "boot" in the root folder of your EFI volume.
Codinger
Hi there, I'm not certain. I used the default that comes with the Yosemite Zone / ##### / #####.Hello it is not premitted to use Tony Mac. You could install clover to boot0ss instead of boot0af or select BlockIO instead of SATA.
