head Posted October 23, 2006 Share Posted October 23, 2006 i think those 2 are using a new technique called "perpendicular recording"... great stuff, i have read its running on 5400rpm but can give performance comparable to the 7200rpm drives... both are cool, maybe youll find some benchmarks where one is better...
