Hope you will understand my english and my problems… I’m french ! I’m actually running with Mavericks 10.9.5, installed with other tools than Clover… I can’t say anymore about them !! I’m still trying to install El Capitan with the original and only one Clover, with the legacy way. My mother card doesn’t support the UEFI (my configuration, pretty old is at the end of this message) I made my USB key « INSTALLER » following this tutorial : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307003-clover-os-x-el-capitan-usb/ Everything work nice… I have my « INSTALLER » USB KEY » and my « APP » folder on my desktop, as you can see on the attached image. And now? what should I do? my questions are : 1- when do I have to run the clover configurator? and how? don’t understand how to use it… 2 - what about the kexts? my DSDT.aml? do I have to copy them somewhere? 3 - how do I create my config.plist? which one do I have to replace? 4 - is my hardware too old? 5 - which version of « Clover OS X El Capitan » should I use to create my USB Installer? V5 or V7? I used the V5… 6 - The V7 has an option : HSFPLUS.efi. Do I have have to use it or not? see images attached 7 - what do I do with all the other application in the APP folder? see images attached 8 - do I have to tick only the "app" option in the installer clover OS x El Capitan? personnaly I would have tick some other option... but i preferred to follow the tutorial seriously... see images attached I had to download the Clover Configurator for 10.9.5… the one in the APP folder works only with 10.10. Can anyone tell me the steps I have to follow to finish my EL CAPITAN instal? I read that clover was a « smart » software which will detect my hardware and create the config.plist alone… is tha right? what do I have to do for that? At this moment i’m totally blocked, and waiting for advices from your community before doing something wrong. Hope you will take the time to read my message and gave me some answers to my questions. Kexts should be either located at /System/Library/Extensions || at /EFI/Clover/kexts/10.XX/ --- Note that XX should match your OS X version used Place your generated config plist under /EFI/CLOVER/ No / Partially for your iGPU take a look here None of them try the Guide here Use all the drivers FlatPackageEditor - Edit .mpkg files; HWMonitor - Monitor Temps; IORegestryExplorrer - Search in IO; KextWizard - Install Kexts; ShowAllFiles && ShowHiddenFiles - look / Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes that is what i mean - The kext are there corresponding to the OS (Booting Mavericks -> 10.9; Booting El Capitan -> 10.11). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
