axydas Posted February 14, 2016 Share Posted February 14, 2016 Hello!! I have an old desktop and I installed Yosemite 10.10.4 an it was working perfectly. Last week I installed the newer El Capitan 10.11.3. Everything is working fine except the graphic card - AMD HD 4550 1GB Sapphire. I followed the post 'Radeon Compatibility Guide - ATI/AMD Graphics Cards' and now the card is recognized but with only 5MB of VRAM.Can you please help me to solve this issue? fantomas Posted February 28, 2016 Share Posted February 28, 2016 Hi There are HD 4550 graphics card series with two different device-id's - one with 0x95401002 and other with 0x954F1002 (an Asus) - HD 4350 device-id has also 0x954F1002 device-id. But both of them already are in ATIRadeonX2000.kext which means that you don't have to have GraphicsEnabler=Yes or Inject ATI checked in Clover. As @vipkokota has checked Inject ATI with Clover, it's why he still had only 5mb vram. If he unchecks Inject ATI in Clover, he should have 1024mb vram but still without QE_CI. For that, he has to add his device-id in AMD4600Controller.kext, repair permissions and rebuild the cache. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
