Please can anyone advise which GPU will be best suited for an X99 Hackintosh build running Yosemite 10.10.5 which will be used for audio production only / no Gaming.

I will be using a Gigabyte X99 UD4 motherboard for this setup and would prefer a GPU that will work out the box with no need for web drivers.

I have in mind the EVGA Nvidia GeForce GT 740 SC 2GB?

Many thanks

Yep, GT 740 can be a good value! I have one and it is good for non gaming, because Kepler gpu it works good. Very low power consumtion!

And it has much more OpenCL, CoreImage GPU speed as older Fermi based nividia gpus (like GT 2xx, GT 4xx, GT5xx, GT6xx.)
