Apple has taken a very long time and just the xnu source was finally released for El Capitan.

So the source for OS X El Capitan released 7:00 +/- PM GMT

it is not easy to fix the problem, any help to resolve the problem above (see spoiler into post # 3) is welcome.

Edit:

We should first try to build the vanillia kernel when the kernel have successfully built, then we can try to built the AMD kernel.damn difficult, unfortunately, there is no post from other users who have tried to resolve the issue.

@y2k4u, Kernel does not work with my CPU, but very good that you have found a way to build the kernel.  :thumbsup_anim:

Hi Folks,

Attached is the long awaited El Capitan 10.11.0 kernel for AMD.  Test away... and I hope you enjoy doing it!

I'll test today.

I've got this spamming in console. Its the only thing in console actually.

09/12/2015 15:17:15.000 syslogd[21]: Received message size 312 overflows work queue limit 10240000 - dropping message

El Cappy seems to like spamming the log on my intel hack it spammed soething about fonts.

On a serious note how do you get it to load the kernel? I used CIM but all I have is an app on my usb drive -- so no /System/Libray foler so I can make a kernels folder  .

Thanks

I used the Disk Utility method of restoring BaseSystem ect. Never used CreateInstallMedia before.

I'm sure there is a chameleon/enoch flag to load the kernel from somewhere else.

Here is the next iteration of the El Capitan 10.11.0 AMD kernel.  Install on a clean system; otherwise, your mileage may vary.

10110R2.zip

I haven't updated my system to 10.11.2 but it's good to know that the previous kernel is working on that as system as well.

Can't post a screenshot ATM but I confirm the first kernel works very good with 10.11 ! I also confirm that EVOReboot.kext cause opcode errors (at least on my system).

Oh and iCloud works OOB  ! OMG !

Now, time to update to 10.11.2 and play with new kernel :).

Congrats to y2k4u, you did an awesome work and made the move to El Capitan incredibly easy ! :thumbsup_anim:

And of course, congrats to everyone that make AMD Hackintoshing possible !
