Hello

I've been trying to install Yosemite or El capitan on this laptop, but I'm very confused about how to setup the USB installer..

Not been able to boot the install screen yet, keep getting stuck or kernel panic..

I've found a few guides to this model, but they all seem to use different options inside clover installer and kext files etc...

A few of the turorials I've look at:

System specs:

Lenovo T410 type 2537

Intel I5-520m

4Gb ram

128GB SSD

Intel integrated graphics

I have not tried to do a hackintosh for years, but I don't remember it being this difficult getting the OSX installer running with Lion..

My last attempt with making a OSX usb gave me this error:

Using this tutorial:

Could some tell me what are the correct settings to use with this laptop and what kext files do I need to get it booting??

Update:

Still got some problems getting this to work..

Using the kext, config.plist and HFSPlus.efi  files from the "T410 Clover USB Pack" from this tutorial : http://t410.mcdonnelltech.com/os-x-installation/

Settings used in Clover:

– Bootloader > Install boot0af in MBR
– CloverEFI > CloverEFI 64-bits SATA
– Drivers64UEFI > EmuVariableUefi-64

– Drivers64UEFI > OsxAptioFixDrv-64
– Drivers64UEFI > PartitionDxe-64

I got the installer running i think, but the graphics is messed up and running like 4 displays in one:

Is this related to the AppleIntelHDGraphics kext files the tutorials below want me to remove from the USB?

The problem is when I make the USB Yosemite installer, using the terminal command from the first tutorial. I can't see the System/Library/Extensions folders

Did try a app called ShowAllFiles.app and was able to find System/Library/ but no Extensions folder inside??..

I'm also very unsure about what flags to use.. Was using these flags to get to the screenshot above -v npci=0x2000 found this on a old mavericks tutorial for a T410..
