Hello,

I followed almost all guides on the net about hackintoshing and nvidia cards. I have a laptop Tosiba Qosmio X870 which has I7 3630 Qm, 16 GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 670m 3GB, Atheros Ethernet, Intel HM67 chipset, etc,
I am working to install a properly working hackintosh on this machine nearly for 2 months. Unfortunately, I am still at the beginning.
I am Following the tonymacs ELCapitan guide for installation process. Also no DSDT or SSDT patching was applied. I dont know ˝f I really need the patching. Even I need, I dont know how to apply. Once I tried but the system has crashed. So please understand me that I am very poor on Mac system or hackintoshing Although I really understand about Windows based system. It doesnot help on hackintoshing.
My Problem is I cannot reach the installation proces without the boot flag nv_disable=1.
With this command I can install el capitan. After Insatallation with the necessary kexts, Sound, keyboard, trackpad almost everything Works perfect.
System recognizes the graphic card perfectly name and RAM size are correct. BUT no QE/CI enabled with  resolution 1920X1080. I tried every version of nvidia web drivers with every version of smbios configuration, from macbook to IMAC. Nothing changed. When I disable the boot flag nv_disable=1 from clover configurator the laptop boots, but the screen is garbed and nothing seen on the screen. I am sure the system is working properly on the back ground. BUT nothing on the screen  accept garble. when I dont enable nvdrive=1 or inject nvidia on GPU section on clover the system doesnot recognize the nvidia and only shows nvidia chip with 7MB RAM.
After reading the discussion about '[sOLVED] Asus ROG laptops with Kepler cards not detecting DP-2 connected LCD display' topic, I tried with HDMI cable, and VGA (also these didnot work) monitor nothing changed.
I also tried tried the recommendations it did not help. Perhaps I couldnot do the right hex patch.
Please help me. I really need HAckintosh with full graphic features on my laptop.
I am sorry for my poor English.
My DSDT/ACPI files retrieved from Clover boot menu with F4, Config.plist and ioreg files are attached.
Any help is apreciated.
THANKS A LOT.

I am very sure that my nVidia is not an optimus one. This is a 3D model and is not supporting optimus. In any way both in windows and mackintosh partition I don't see any information about Intel HD graphics.

So I am stuck at this point.

http://www.nvidia.co...tx-670m-tr.html

If you check this link, you will see the laptops which uses this card. at the bottom ıf you check Toshiba you will see that this 3D nvidia is not optimus.

The language is not English on the link I couldn't find the English version. So I am sorry about this.

Any help/advise is so appreciated.

Best regards.

In my first message I said that they enabled this card on an asus rog laptop which uses the same nVidia card. So i am in hope perhaps there may be a solution for me too. perhaps this is a just display problem. And I am not able to do right hex for my samsung 3D display. Because in any place on hackintosh partition i could not locate any information about display.

I suggest that even I use HD4000 the problem will continue. Once I tried to use HD4000 but the problem about the display persisted with a poor performance.

I am very sorry about my suggestions, perhaps I am doing everything wrong and you are right. Because i really dont understand about hackintoshing. I am only trying to follow the guides on the net especially on insanelymac. So mine is a hope.

Dear Allan,

I tried your config.plist. After a very fast boot system shows that nvidia chipset with 7 mb Ram,

Except this nothing changed.

Thanks for your effort. If you have any advise I will be very happy to hear.

Best regards.

hallo,

gtx670m will work fine if you use chameleon, try to create a bootable usb-chameleon if your uefi isnt detecting chameleon on hdd..

i followed this guide: http://roghackintosh.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=1da856ef96d43838a5042bcd7c80181d&board=29.0

to get my modified asus g75vx (replaced gtx670mx with 670m) working, take a look at my boot flags in the attached plist.

you need to inject your own device properties because your card will not exactly match the asus gtx670m, follow this guide for extracting device properties:   http://roghackintosh.com/index.php?topic=65.msg89#msg89

(use chameleon with the flag nv_disable=1 then you should be able to boot osx without gfx acceleration for device property extraction)

i also tried to get yosemite booting with clover and full gfx-acceleration, but it ends in black screen like you said..

Hello,

Now I am using clover boot loader, may I convert it to chameleon or do I need to perform a fresh install.

What is your advise ? Additionally, The guides that you mentioned are for yosemite or mountain line, should I use them for El Capitan or do I need to install yosemite?

Thanks for your help and best regards

no fresh install is needed just install chameleon on usb and select your usb at bios bootup, use the latest enoch-chameleon for el capitan.

use hfs and guid for your usb device..install enoch and i think you need fakesmc, genericusbxhci and voodoops2controller.kext in extra/extensions if not already installed to s/l/e... didn't try el capitan, you may need to change the some boot flags like disabling nvda_drv=1...

just tried clover again and its working for me with full acceleration..try:

inject nvidia and insert your nvcap (use nvcap maker to extract)..no need to inject any device-properties

good luck

Hello,

I tried to get NVCAP value. I preformed these methods

1.I retrieved the VBIOS on windows via GPU_Z but unfortunately NVCAPMAKER did not read the value, I already tried 3 times,

2. Also tried to get it via nvflash on DOS mode, this did not work either.

3. I found a rom file on the net which says it belongs to nVidia GTX 670m, NVCAPMAKER read the value, but after injecting this value, it did not work. The laptop boots but at the the screen is just  glitches.

4. I tried Your config.plist, the same as number 3.

I am stuck at this point. What do I need to do?

Hi,

Today anybody didnot give any advise. By this time i installed teamviewer and when I used bootflag nvdrive=1 the laptop boots and I see just glitches on the screen. By teamviewer I connected to device and I recognized that system is working properly except the screen.

I hope that this information may give a clue to the profs of hackintoshing.

Any advise is so apreciated.

Best regards.

@ sendromx

Hello!

I try to help you, but it is lasting some days `til i have spare time. Please upload here a private made full DarwinDumper Report.

Have fun.

PS: Try to inject the string that I have made for the gtx 560m. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/304358-nvidia-560m-nvcap-value/?p=2113447

Wrong naming and vram size don´t matter at this point. Just inject this string and remove any other gfx injection from Config.plist and DSDT.aml/SSDT.aml.

Have fun.
