Tropical Wilson Posted December 2, 2015 Share Posted December 2, 2015 HighPoint RocketRaid 2300 PCIEx1 card into my Gigabyte Z97 based system... no RAID BIOS as expected. Tried tinkering motherboard settings to no avail. Tried OS tinkerings (kexts, drivers, control panel) but no card or HDs recognized, and feels like the issue is not on the OS side (yet). Tried the RAID card in an old Dell Inspiron I picked up for <$100 and the RAID BIOS boots up right away! (version 2.2) I see this motherboard is not in the 'approved list' from High Point, but then very little is, and I saw on Hackintosh forums that some have this card working. Can anyone suggest anything to try? My system spec (essentially a TonyMac Customac Pro): - Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7-TH - Core i7-4790K - Crucial Ballistix Tactical (32GB) - Samsung 850 EVO 250GB - Corsair RM850 - NVIDIA K5000 - Norcotek 450B Rack Case Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
