Power management on Asus x99 deluxe 5960x

Hi guys,

After a week of relaxed trying a have a nice new hackintosh running.

As I have already a hackintosh with yosemite 10.10.5 I followed the USB-Stick free new method of installing and cloned my system in the end with light kext variations on the new Asus x99 deluxe with i7 5960 and a completely hassle free Geforce 660 TI. I use Clover as a bootloader which nicely patches the original kernel, as a Mac Pro 3.1. Overclocking never reached instability, whatever I tried - nice.

The only thing what does not work at all is power management. In idle the system consumes 200 watt (external wattmeter) at 4 GHz - too mach. As my old Gigabyte Sandy Bridgy system worked out of the box with wonderful power management on Chimera, SSDT free, I´m a absolutely newbee in getting speedstepping to work.

So what to try? I have NullCPUPowerManagement.kext installed. Tried many variations in bios with EIST, XHCI, Turbo, various SSDT settings in Clover with no effect.

With ASUS x99 DLUXE and 5960x under 10.10.5 what is the best solution for light overclocking?

1. Does somebody have a working SSDT for this combination? I tried the Rampage SSDT - system didn´t start.

2. Is there a possibility to get speedstepping just with special settings in clover?

3. Is there a working solution just using special kexts?

Any help would be much appreciated.
