grandosegood
in other words, is it more ideal to use a card that would require injection and the Nvidia=True flag, or is it better to have the opposite and why?
Wowfunhappy
"Better" in terms of what? In terms of performance, for nVidia cards it's always "best" to use Nvidia's own Web Drivers, which work with pretty much any nVidia GPU. Edit in 2022: I'm sure no one will see this, however, I'm going through my own posts, and I'm... embarrassed that I wrote the above. While I haven't benchmarked with and without nVidia Web Drivers, I wouldn't automatically assume they perform better if a card is natively supported. If anything, I think I'd assume the opposite for normal usage. Edited October 16, 2022 by Wowfunhappy
grandosegood
i have heard some people running into issues with benchmarking and other gnu/3d programs with injection, so i was curious if it made a difference at all.
