Han S
Hi, Did anyone install Mavericks 10.9.x on Dell Latitude E4300 succesfully and got it working? I found a guide on "http://forum.osxlatitude.com" toinstall 10.9.1 using MyHack 3.3.1. I had followed this methode as much as I can: http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6112-os-x-1091-on-e4300/&do=findComment&comment=36361 But I couldn't complish step 7: I couldn't copy those 4 files to S/L/E using Transmac on Windows envirement. I first put these files on the Windows desktop and tried to drag and drop these files to S/L/E. But is not possible. I bured these files on the CD and tried to drag and drop from the Cd to S/L/E. Also not possible. So after step 6 of you methode I shut down the laoptop. I pulled out the hard disk and put it in an 2.5" USB enclosure. The connected it to my other Hackintosh, which I had created the Mavericks installation USB key. Now I was able to copy these 4 files to S/L/E. Then I put the hard disk back in the laptop and boot. Although the installation till step 6 went succesfully, I couldn't got to the configuring stage. I used differend flags with no success, it always ended up this messages. See attachement. Did I miss something? Or if you have another methode to install it, please let me know. Greetings, Han S
0000-1248
Please post your specs. Please bear in mind that since your system is prebuilt, it may have different specs to the one in your posted guide. Also, post what flags you have used and try to use a different bootloader (Clover/Chameleon). - Matt
Han S
Hi guys, After searching on the net I found this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/271918-fixed-resetting-iocatalog-issue-after-installation-of-lion-l1/ So I plug the HD externally to another working Hackintosh. 1. I delete all graphic kexts/bundles/plugins that I can found with name: AppleIntelHD..... I also delete all AppleIntelHD3000 and AppleIntelHD4000 kexts. 2. I Run MyHack 3.3.1. Choose Run MyFix (Full). 3. Put the HD in the laptop and boot with -f flag. You must use this flag, otherwise it won't boot. 4. After configuation part, I use ##### 6.5.1 for patching audio kext (Voodoo 0.21) and network kext (Intel 3.1.0). A few things still don't work: WiFi, Bluetooth, Battery status, Cardreader. But they are not important to me. 5. Still you need to use -f flag to boot up the system.
