I installed the Web driver but the only resolution i have is 1024 x 768
And by the way : i have to add nv_disable=1 to or else i can't boot.
I mean, i can but i have " NO SIGNAL "
Is there maybe an issue with the HDMI ? I'm using a 4K TV Samsung UE40JU6550 - GTX 980 Ti with HDMI - HDMI

I have the version OSX Yosemite 10.10.5
Any ideas ? Can someone help me, please ?
Thank you

check your smbios and use iMac 14.2 - reinstall the latest web drivers from nVidia.

i did as you said but all i can get is 1920x1080

I also tried imac 14.2 and macpro 6 or something like that

My gtx 980 ti is not recognized

What else should I try ?

I attached here 2 images

What else do i need to check or uncheck ?

Thank you

I am currently using that very same card on my home build (x99), the card works pretty good. I am using nvda_drv=1 to get the webdrivers to load, try it on.

Mac Pro 6.1 got me a black screen until i installed a fix mentioned at that other hackintosh forum/site, i don't recall it right now should post once i get home

I have only HDMI on my 4K Samsung tv

Could that be the problem, maybe ?

Should i try with DP ( graphic card ) to HDMI ( tv ) ? Does it make a difference ?

You know the cable might be an issue, depending on the cable version hdmi 1.2 or 1.3 you might find issues like lower supported resolution and lower base framerate, this is true specially with cheap cables.

Try a DP cable and tell us how it goes.

I am using a p2715q from dell, 4k @60hz via a single DP cable.

Hope that info is useful to you.

Hi there

As above you should try Clover bootloader, can make yours life bit easier

With those new drivers from Nvidia previously I've same issue, but in my case has been down to the I'm running extra GTX780 too in second PCIE slot.

But to yours issue, please try this

Fix: modify the AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext

  1. Open Terminal
  2. Enter this command (it is one line)

    sudo nano /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext/Contents/Info.plist

  3. Arrow down to where you see <key>ConfigMap</key>
  4. For the iMac15,1 locate the board-id "Mac-42FD25EABCABB274" and change string below it from "Config2" to "none". For the MacPro6,1 you will do the same thing but for the board-id "Mac-F60DEB81FF30ACF6". For the iMac17,1 you'll have to see which board-id is declared in your config.plist SMBIOS: "Mac-B809C3757DA9BB8D" or "Mac-65CE76090165799A" or "Mac-DB15BD556843C820" and change the appropriate entry to "none".
  5. Save the file by pressing Ctrl+O, then enter.
  6. Exit by pressing Ctrl+X
  7. Rebuild the kernel cache using the following two commands in terminal:

    sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
    sudo kextcache -system-caches

  8. Reboot

This is best option or solution for you there, happen to me same after I updated to 10.10.5

And I'm running EVGA GTX Titan X with Palit GTX 780 on my PC

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura
