Getting Darwin to install, could use some help

I use Vmware player 7.1.2 and have unlocked it and see the list of OX X versions or Mac versions I can pick and have tried some of those with no luck.

 

Each time I get vcpu-0:VERIFY vmcore/vmm/main/physMem_monitor.c:1123

 

I've looked up this error and tried to apply the edit needed to make this error go away but I think I did it to the wrong file. I can't find the file I need to edit. 

 

 

| 1. Change the VM to be HW 10 - this does not affect performance.            |
| 2. Edit the VMX file and add:                                               |
|    smc.version = "0"
