I've got a lot of my very first i5 Hackintosh Yosemite 10.10.1 working, except for my GTX 750.

What is the basic procedure for getting it to work properly? If I try to boot with it in, it freezes at boot.

From what I've learned, I need a an Nvidia driver for 10.10.1 and I have to set some flags up at boot. Which driver and which flags? Also, how do I make those flags permanent?

THANKS!!

I had a hard time getting my gtx970 up and running but finally got it sorted out (I think)

Are you adding the card post install or trying to install with the card already in the system?

There are some basics that definately need to be done.

In bios disable your integrated graphics (if you have one) and set it to use your pci card by default

When booting with the nvidia card before installing the web drivers you have to use the nv_disable = 1 boot flag to get into the system. Once in, download the latest drivers from the nvidia website and follow the instructions they have for enabling the web driver. Reboot without the nv disable flag and see what happens, if you get to the login prompt your done, if not some more work will be required. At least get this far then report back if still having issues.

Take a look here // NV Web Dirvers

Maybe try to inject NVidia with Clover. If you don't use Clover yet take a look here
