It opens a terminal and flies through but when I try to point to an iso and create a VM there is no OS X option available. Is it the iso ? Options ? What version of Workstation or Player are you trying to patch? Open a Command prompt as Administrator and go to the directory where you have unzipped the unlocker and run the install.cmd script. As an additional step before running the script shutdown all the VMware related services. A re-boot is required once the unlocker script has been run.
