bertram1233
I am running El Capitan with the latest version of the Nvidia Web drivers. This gives me dual screens and full QE/CI but I am experiencing some huge lag when I use the machine. My system will hang for around 10 seconds whenever I open any application that uses hardware acceleration (eg. Google Chrome, VLC, etc.). If I run the machine with nv_disable=1 the system is very responsive but the graphics will be choppy.I have tried Yosemite on my machine as well but the lag is even more. I'm now back to El Capitan looking for solutions. I've tried various SMBIOS but none fix this issue. I've tried to change to a different port on my motherboard and that doesn't work either. Does anyone have any idea?

bertram1233
hello, you've added nvda_drv = 1? Hi there, thanks for your reply! Yep, I have added nvda_drv=1 to my boot flags, removing nv_disable=1 and disabling all Nvidia injects in Clover.

bertram1233
controls, nvidia preferences panel, there is flag of web driver What is your hardware? Clover legacy or UEFI? Yes, I see the preference pane. It shows that I'm running the OSX Native Drivers, but I know for sure that I'm running the Web Driver. I'm installing this on a Lenovo Thinkstation P700, it's some custom server-like motherboard with dual Xeon E5-2620 v3 The graphics card I'm installing is the MSI OC GTX 960 2GB. Running on Clover UEFI.

gengik84
osxaptiofix2drv installed, you should remove the other version. try to install clover on selecting a USB driver that I told you instead of the other. This is a council, because in my opinion, to do tests is always better to use a usb. In doing so, you run the risk of creating problems on hd

EDIT2: I installed a later version of OsxAptioFix2Drv and now I can get past the bootloader error allocation of pages, but getting a kernel panic right after that. Going to try change the SMBIOS now to see if it fixes the issue.

Got it booting on OsxAptioFix2Drv finally after adding my DSDT and kexts (actually, I forgot it when I first made the Clover USB) Nvidia doesn't appear to be any different, the preference pane still shows that it's using OSX Native drivers, the lag still exists and changing it to Nvidia Web Driver doesn't make any difference and after reboot, will still show back as OS X drivers ...
