Hi there,

I tried to extract the DSDT from Aida64. By the compiling of the DSDT I receive two syntax error. You can find the file attached.

I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this because I'm a noob.

Then I have a question: Do I have to patch this DSDT with my motherboard? I tried it and USB doesn't work but I received no errors at all.

Thank you very much.

S.

good hack

Thank you very much for this!

I patched with MaciASL and my motherboard, but the rear USBs doesn't work anymore. Just the 2 USB 3 from the case. You know why? Can you help me with is?

With no motherboard patch USB works...

My SMBIOS is iMac 15,1. --> I tried with 14,2 and the problem is always there.

Thanks again.

Untrue, while it will work, is a good idea to patch the dsdt for any system

I think you're right: Just the boot is much faster as without DSDT: I went from 12 to 7 sec.!

With the hack of the motherboard the USBs does not work, just the 2 from the case. Anyone can help me, please?

You need read the usb guides for capitan. Known issue with various workarounds.

You could apply the 10.11 rename patch to your dsdt from my thread and likely get success.
