I only need a motherboard that have at least 6 data ports because i have 8 HDD on an NZXT case (2 drives with a PCI-e SATA card) I found this motherboard https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/B85MG/specifications/ I live in argentina, my options to get a good motherboard are limited by the market and importation rules. IS a good motherboard to use with "El Capitan" ? Any experience ? I will buy this mother with an i5 processor And 16GB of RAM Any ideas ? other options ??? What i5 are you thinking to buy? You will use the iGPU of the i5? Each version of the Mac OS X are you thinking to install? Can you tell us how much you wanna spend and a website that you can purchase so we can get the idea of the price range and the MB available? 2 of those 6 SATA ports are SATA 2.0 (3Gb/s) each means will compromise the speed of your HDD depending on the HDD.
