I have followed the detailed guide - [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI - here I have the laptop working with full QE/CI :-) also installed a new wifi card that works with out of the box. I would like to connect the laptop via VGA to a monitor. However, the instruction to patch the frame buffer file with Intell HD Graphics patcher - Ity keep reporting errors. I have also tried using intel_reg_dumper command in linux, but still no joy. I have completed the DSDT patch, but out is very fuzzy from VGA port Enclosed is the frame buffer file and output form the "sudo intel_reg_dumper" Any thoughts on how to fix this - any help I would be most grateful.
