My PC Specs:

Intel Pentium Dual-Core CPU E5300 2.60GHz (64bit but running 32bit because low ram)

2GB DDR2 Ram

Currently running Windows 10

Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset

Intel 82801G (ICH7) Ata storage controller. ( No AHCI or RAID or IDE)

235W Power Unit

My Board Doesn't Support AHCI

My Hard drive is set to MBR

My problem is that I am trying to install the Mac OSX retail of snow leopard but when I first try it. It has a IOATAFamily kernel panic error so I get the one that fixed that from this link:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/186609-fix-for-ioatafamily-appleintelpiixata-panic-in-snow-leopard/

After that the USB load up and I can install it now my problem is that Disk Utility can see my ATA hard drive. I can install on a USB Flash Drive which I did it worked fine.

So I change my IOATAFamily.kext to one that support ATA I get the kernel panic.

Is there a kext that doesn't make the kernel panic and also give support to my Serial ATA hard drive.

Thanks In Advance for Any Help

I had installed Mac OSX Snow Leopard on a usb then restored it to my hard drive partition with a distro cd and now I have the ioatafamilly error and still waiting for root device.
