trungpt
I have MAC OS X 10.9.4 running on VMWare Workstation 10.0.7 x64 with VMWare Tools. Everything is OK but Java Applications such as JetBrains RubyMine. A Java app cannot update its user interface automatically. I always have to maximize its window, then restore OR drag the window of an other app (for example, Finder) over the window of the Java app to get the window of the Java updated. I attached an image, as we can see, when I right click on the editor, a blank menu appears and some parts of the window of RubyMine haven't updated yet. Does anyone meet a similar problem when running Java app in a virtual machine? Please share some information.
TheRacerMaster
Probably caused by a lack of graphics acceleration.
trungpt
Probably caused by a lack of graphics acceleration. But how to enable the graphics acceleration for the virtual machine? Under the Display settings for the virtual machine, I tried to enable "Accelerate 3D graphics" but the problem is still there.
LuXs
Of what i understand there is no way sadly enough to give the OS X VM any more graphics ram even if if turn on "Accelerated 3D graphics" it wont support it.it only gets 128mb of video ram.Its not yet come out a hack or tweak that makes it possible to give it more but it would be so nice if it ever comes out so i can give it 1 gb of video ram and run video editing software virtually
