Could I install OSX on an acer m1100 DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2300 MHz (11.5 x 200) 4400+ ?

which is a long long way to your destination. If anyone has the time to help you, I doubt very much. try once successfully install Snow Leopard, you need to make yourself knowledgeable regarding BIOS settings. The matching kernel you'll find in the AMD area,

the last runnable Snow Leopard amd kernel for 10.6.8 has created sinetek, but this will only run under 10.6.8. older amd kernels you have to pick out itself from the link.

I have no time for it. It's better if you were to buy a newer hardware. When buying new, then Intel CPU.

Many thanks Spakk, I will check that out, Only looking into this on this machine as it was a freebie..Mainly  to try out logic pro on OSX before committing to a build specifically for logic pro

 

Which videocard?

Video is onboard ATI Radeon X1200 Series  (256 MB)  G
