Just had this appear in AppStore:

OS X El Capitan Update Developer Beta 10.11.1

I think they released EL Captian GM RC to soon.  There are real Mac users having too many issues.  Some even reporting USB.

I agree! The GM does not seem like a finished product yet!

I just installed the latest update and it says this:

OS X 10.11.1 (15B17c)

I also have no iOS 9 final on my iphone. But I already have iOS 9.1 BETA 1. Weird, right? Sorry about the off-topic. Just wanted to mention it as a weird thing with the updates.

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate CatalogURL https://swscan.apple.com/content/catalogs/others/index-10.11seed-10.11-10.10-10.9-mountainlion-lion-snowleopard-leopard.merged-1.sucatalog.gz
Note: Apple pulled the GM because it wasn't the GM but a former Beta!

If you are in the beta program like me and don't see the update, use this command above ^

Hey guys.... after the update, everything is orange. Why?

I tried restart 2x and still orange.

Edit: color is OK in safe mode.

Never mind, after I patched AppleHDA and ran Kext Utility, re-start color is OK now. Strange.

The update works fine on clover (using downloaded .pkg), however I'd need the updated nvidia drivers, although I believe there should be a way to still use the older ones from 10.10 GM...

Latest nVidia El Capitan drivers (346.03.01b07) work if you edit the NVDAStartupWeb.kext Info.plist file NVDARequiredOS section 15A to 15B.

And I downloaded the update from the App Store.

same here.

as I said above, just paste catalog url in your browser, then search for 10.11.1 and download it.   ;)

i'dont follow the Apple to.. crazy..

Just i stay on GM

I do not think there's anything crazy... if Apple thinks their new OS X is stable enough for an official release on September 30, then there is no inconvenient to see them thinking about the next minor update.

knowing that a beta process can take several weeks, is perfectly normal.

Maybe what Moviemakergr's think was: silly part by increasing number sub version before its final releases come to public (10.11 "GM" isnt released yet, and that "should be" labeled as "RC" / Release Candidate before "true GM" for public is coming out). :)
