Make sure you installed both AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext and delete any realtekALC.kext and/or VoodooHDA.kext you may have installed in your system. Rebuild kernel cache using Kext Wizard or any kext management tool then reboot.

As for the Mac App Store, check that your Ethernet connection is set as en0 (you can see this in System Profiler) :

If not, delete all network interface in System Preferences > Network and also, delete this file : Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist

Again, reboot then add your Eternet interface first.

THANK YOU again!!!

Everything works perfectly now :thumbsup_anim:

Will it work - Nvidia quadro 295 ?

I believe so, but not sure.

Guys, where can I find a list of supported dedicated video cards to OS El Capitan?

There is none.
I've run 2 cards that did work:

  1.  AMD Radeon HD 6450
  2.  NVidia GT 710

Others used AMD Radeon HD 5450

Thanks for replay,

Do I have to install some addition Kexts or someting, when I will add to pc your card model - AMD Radeon HD 6450?
Or this will go with native support?

That's quite tricky. I had no issues with my HD 6450, it worked natively whereas others had problems with making it to work. I think it's quite brand-specific; Mine was a Sapphire.
However, I would go for a GT 710. That one does work natively and also works on later macOS versions whereas the hd 6450 does not.

Yea, but old CPU instructions set, won't let me go with higher versions than El Capitan. Its still LGA-775 socket.

Small update:

I got problem with audio drivers and ethernet on Dell Optiplex 755 MT.

The main problem is that audio not working at all...

From 1-st page I downloader pack *.zip with files, used Kext Wizard to install kexts but it didn't work.... there were no audio in system (selected "Kexts\Sound\Patched_AppleHDA"), final command "sudo kextcache -prelinked kernel" gives me error that I didn't specifiend the file after that command.

Using DSDT.aml from "AMD Radeon HD 5450" folder. Graphics works, but audio not.

When I use own kexts I got working audio, Ethernet, but graphics not working... :surprised:

Spec:
Dell Optiplex 755 MT
GPU - Radeon HD 5450. Analog video output
C2D, at least 4GB RAM.

I've ran up to Catalina on my 755 with no problems. You can get a capable CPU for less than $10, e.g. Core2Duo E7200.

For now I got only E6550, 2x2,33Ghz. My cpu do not have SSE4.1 instructions set.

Thanks for your time.

In attachments:

- Folder Clover with working audio and integrated network (not working GPU - frame buffer?)

- Folder Clover with working GPU, no audio and network is randomly disconecting.

Also adding 2 photos (dont know how to screenshot on mac -yet):

- working audio and network (gpu - image distortion),

- working GPU (audio is gone).
